Terms of Use

1. Who and what these rules cover

These Terms of Use apply to your use of REWIND, including browsing published places, creating 3D parts and UI, writing Luau, editing avatars, publishing places, uploading icons/thumbnails/audio/decals/models, reviewing catalog assets, and interacting with other users’ public content. You must also meet the age and supervision requirements in the Terms of Service.

2. Respectful and lawful conduct

You may not use REWIND to create, publish, upload, or promote content or conduct that:

• is unlawful, deceptive, threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, or encourages violence or self-harm;
• sexually depicts, solicits, grooms, exploits, or endangers a minor, or exposes minors to sexual content;
• shares or solicits private personal information, passwords, precise location, contact details, or images of another person without a lawful basis and any required permission;
• impersonates another person, falsely claims an affiliation, or uses a username or asset to mislead users;
• infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity, or other rights, or contains content you are not authorized to share;
• contains malware, credential theft, phishing, scams, hidden tracking, or attempts to bypass access, age, or moderation controls;
• interferes with the API, database, storage bucket, site, other accounts, or hosting providers, including denial-of-service activity, scraping that harms the service, or attempts to obtain unauthorized access;
• uses scripts to exfiltrate data, access the host page, contact external services, disrupt a user’s device, or evade the sandbox;
• markets, sells, or solicits goods or services through REWIND without written permission; or
• encourages another user to violate these rules or applicable law.

Do not upload personal or confidential material into public content. A place description, public username, icon, thumbnail, decal, or audio can reveal information to other users.

3. Creator content and your promises

“Creator Content” means names, descriptions, images, icons, thumbnails, 3D models, scene data, UI layouts, animation data, scripts, audio, decals, and other material you submit or save. You remain responsible for it. By submitting content, you confirm that:

• you created it or have all permissions and licenses needed for REWIND and users to use it as described here;
• it is accurate where it makes factual claims, lawful to distribute, and compliant with these terms;
• it does not include another person’s personal data or likeness without a valid legal basis and permission where required; and
• you will respond to a good-faith ownership or safety inquiry and provide evidence of authorization when reasonably requested.

4. Limited license to operate REWIND

You grant Soheil Zourak, as REWIND operator, a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, back up, format, transmit, display, make technically necessary adaptations to, moderate, and distribute your submitted content solely as needed to operate, secure, promote, and improve REWIND and to show content to the audience or asset catalog you select. This license continues while the content is stored or publicly available and for the reasonable technical period needed to remove backups, caches, or copies after deletion. It does not transfer ownership and does not permit unrelated commercial exploitation of your content.

You also permit REWIND users to view and interact with content you intentionally publish using the features of the service. You can stop future public display by unpublishing or requesting removal, subject to technical delays, legal retention, and copies others have already made. The prototype may not yet implement every unpublish or delete action self-service.

5. Catalog submissions and moderation

Uploads submitted as icons, thumbnails, models, audio, or decals may be pending, approved, rejected, or removed. Approval means only that REWIND permits the asset to appear through current catalog features; it is not a warranty, verification of ownership, endorsement, or safety guarantee. Do not resubmit material removed for policy or rights reasons without resolving the underlying issue. Moderators may inspect files and metadata for review, security, and abuse prevention.

6. Orbs, plans, and gamepasses

Orbs are REWIND-only points, not money. They are currently earned through the daily sign-in grant and plan allowances; the service does not currently sell Orbs for real money or offer cash redemption or transfer. Plans change creator feature access and limits as described on the Plans page. Gamepasses are digital entitlements defined by the experience creator and bought with the displayed number of Orbs. Review the name, description, price, and icon before buying. REWIND records purchases and ownership; creator earnings, resale, gifting, and cash payouts are not available in this prototype. A gamepass may be restricted or removed if its description is inaccurate, violates rules, or becomes unavailable. Any non-waivable consumer rights continue to apply.

Do not promise or imply that a gamepass can be redeemed for money, transferred, or used outside REWIND. Do not exploit bugs to duplicate balances, bypass prices, or obtain passes without a recorded purchase.

7. Luau scripts and the editor sandbox

The previous browser editor is archived. The separate Windows editor provides a Luau WebAssembly console in a worker with a short execution limit; its sandbox exposes basic logging, not Roblox APIs. It does not emulate Roblox Studio, provide Roblox services such as game or workspace, execute server scripts, or connect published places to multiplayer. Its local playtest simulates basic movement and collisions only. Scripts and project files are stored locally unless you separately upload content to REWIND.

Do not try to escape the worker, interfere with the page or storage, or exploit the runtime. Sandboxing reduces risk but is not a promise that all untrusted code is harmless. REWIND may disable script execution, place limits on source, or change runtimes to protect users and the platform. Back up scripts you need.

8. Intellectual property

REWIND’s name, visual identity, website code, and service materials are owned by or licensed to the operator, except for third-party components and user content. You may not copy the service branding to imply endorsement or affiliation. “Roblox” and related marks belong to their respective owners; REWIND is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Roblox Corporation.

If you believe content infringes your rights, contact sosozouzou130@gmail.com with your name, rights basis, the precise content URL or asset identifier, a good-faith explanation, and a statement that your report is accurate. Do not submit false or abusive notices. The prototype currently has no dedicated automated notice form.

9. Reports, moderation, and appeals

REWIND may review reports, investigate content, limit visibility, remove material, restrict accounts, or preserve records where reasonably necessary for safety, rights, security, or legal compliance. Decisions may consider context, severity, repeat behavior, and user age. Where practical, REWIND will tell the affected account what rule was involved and how to request a review. Immediate restrictions may be used where delay would risk harm or service security.

Moderation does not guarantee that every violation will be found. If you encounter harmful content, do not amplify it; report it through the Report page or sosozouzou130@gmail.com.

10. Family and child safety

Users aged 13 or 14 need an approved supervision link to a 17+ REWIND account to view experiences creators have marked as supervised. The supervisor account holder must be the child’s parent/legal guardian or authorized by them. The supervisor should discuss the child’s use, understand that the link is not identity-verified, and use the account controls responsibly. The platform does not provide direct messaging or voice chat in this prototype.

These platform controls do not replace a parent’s responsibility to assess whether an experience is suitable. Do not create or label an experience in a misleading way to bypass its intended audience restriction.

11. Consequences and revisions

Breaches can result in content rejection, unpublishing, temporary restrictions, suspension, or account termination, subject to applicable law and the Terms of Service. REWIND may update these rules as features and risks change. The updated version and effective date will be posted here; material changes will be communicated where reasonably possible.
